We propose a system utilizing low-cost components, such as depth cameras and IoT sensors, that allows for frequent 3D scans over extended periods while overcoming challenges like weather conditions and IR interference. Our method includes a novel pipeline to isolate the bio-based building elements. This approach opens avenues for a better understanding of material behavior and its implications for future design, construction, and maintenance practices.
